To Whom It May Concern, I have been taking driving lessons from David since March 2007. Prior to employing the services of David, I had undertaken numerous lessons with several other instructors including two instructors from a well known driving school. My previous driving experiences/lessons with earlier instructors had left me extremely de-motivated, anxious and nervous about driving; however, since receiving lessons from David, my state of mind/confidence in respect of my capabilities in all aspects of my driving, have grown immensely. Prior March 2007, I was unable to perform two out of three of the requisite manoeuvres i.e. the corner reverse and parallel parking. My ability to undertake a turn-in-the-road was also below par. My driving in general required detailed attention. Upon my initial meeting with Mr Stephenson, I conveyed my concerns about driving and highlighted all areas which caused persistent problems for me. David has, in my opinion, a very pragmatic and quite frankly unique method of teaching a student how to drive, and in particular how to conduct all relevant manoeuvres. David's ability to explain at ease, has been continuingly reassuring, and easily comprehensible. David has been an integral part in installing my confidence in my ability as a learner driver. His methods of teaching have allowed me to perform all manoeuvres to a satisfactory standard with the belief that I can assess each manoeuvre accurately and without anxiety. Each lesson is always complied with undertaking all manoeuvres, negotiating turns around various roundabouts; and he also allows me to experience driving is different ar-eas/parts - which in turn strengthens my awareness and concentration. I have no hesitation in referring any friend, acquaintance and/or family member to David. Personally, I believe, had David been my first driving instructor, then I would have had the confidence to apply for a test a long time ago. Prior to meeting Mr Stephenson, I had become cynical as to the motives of driving instructors per se, as I had previously in-vested a considerable sum of money in attempting to acquire a standard of driving fit for the road. In my opinion, the service David supplies is highly commendable, and I con-sider him to be an excellent instructor. Mrs. Indersit |
